"This is great!!! I love the way Stellure allows you to print all of the views of the style!" -- Nancy, CA, USA.
It's worthwhile taking the time to get good photos of yourself so we can create an accurate 3D model of you.

The more closely you follow the guidelines below the better the 3D model of your face will be. It's unlikely that existing pictures you have will match the criteria well.

Essential:
  • Your front shot must be straight on to the camera, and your profile shot should be as close to side-on as possible.
Resist the temptation to tuck your chin in, or raise it up, or look out the corner of your eyes. Having your head staight and level in your photos is the single most important requirement.
  • Your entire head must be in the photo.
  • Your hair should not cover your forehead or any part of your face.
  • Your expression should be the same in both photos.
Highly Recommended for best results:
  • Flash lighting must be used - try not to have shadows on your face.
  • You should not be wearing glasses/sunglasses.
If it's really important to you to see what you look like with your glasses on try using a front shot with glasses and a side shot without them.
  • Your mouth should be closed.
If your teeth are showing in your smile, they will wind up being where your lips should be - which can look weird.
  • Your makeup and smile will be copied on the 3D model - make sure you’re happy with them.
  • Your photos should be in focus, large and crisp.
The face part of the photo should be 500 or more pixels high.
  • Take the photo against a plain background - try a light-colored wall.
Remember, your 3D model is not based on what you usually look like: it’s solely based on what is visible in the photos. If you don’t like the way your face looks in the photos, then you probably won’t like the way it looks in 3D.
Good Photos:
  • Straight and level
  • Mouth closed
  • Make-up and smile
  • Whole Face in frame
  • Indoor Flash lit
  • Hair pulled back
  • Plain background
  • Matching expressions
Bad Photos:
  • Not straight and level
  • Mouth open
  • Hair on face
  • Black & white
  • Not whole face
  • Face to small in frame
  • Wearing sunglasses
  • Not plain background
  • No side photo
Minimum Photo Size

Make sure the face is at least 500 pixels high, For example if you take the picture with a digital camera set at 640 x 480 pixels (commonly the smallest size for digital cameras) the face will have to take up nearly the whole frame.
Remember:
Good photos make good 3D models.
